Global Research of Future Trends and Development in Cash Holding: A Bibliometric View

Cash holdings are becoming a growing issue for worldwide scholars in finance to understand the importance of strategic approach corporate cash policy reserves. In practice, firms have faced challenges adopting an appropriate policy. It would be study notions holding (CH) explore suitable strategies overcome inadequacy financial reserves system worldwide. Thus, this paper aims conduct bibliometric analysis and fill literature gap by identifying evaluating current status developing trends domain provide meaningful insights assist further discussion. Bibliometric studies proven beneficial helping researchers better exploring research particular field research. From Scopus database, identifies knowledge evolution trend or holdings, where 1,073 published articles from year 1971 2022 were reported. The study's findings demonstrate that number publications has intensified past few years. results also identify Economics, Econometrics, Finance more popular subject categories decades. terms keyword analysis, most frequently used authors associated with governance constraints. Moreover, co-authorship finds collaboration taken place among United States, China, Kingdom. Finally, citation reveals Journal Corporate dominates Future strings should focus on constraints, investment external drivers effect holdings.
